Every production opens one full stage-and-orchestra rehearsal to schools, free, with the conductor stopping to explain what has just gone wrong. It is the least polished thing we do and by some distance the most useful.

In schools

Two singers and a repetiteur, forty-five minutes, no set. We visit around ninety schools a year within an hour of the city.

Young company

Twelve places a year for singers aged eighteen to twenty-four, paid, with two years of coaching and small roles on the main stage. Auditions in February.

Standing places

Forty standing places at the back of the upper circle at £6, released at ten on the morning of each performance. No booking, no membership, no exceptions for anybody including patrons.
